Artist's Description
This painting was done as a donation to "Buddy" who is going through rehabilitation and hopefully one day be able to walk on his own. He was attacked by another dog as a puppy and his spine was broken but instead of being put down, someone rescued him and he is now in a loving home going through therapy. Proceeds from the sale of any prints help with Buddy's care.
About Vic Ritchey

Vic was born and raised in South-Central Pennsylvania in a small village near the city of Altoona. Being creative all his life, he grew up always interested in art. As a child, he was constantly drawing various characters and cutting them out and putting them in a shoebox to play with later. We did similar rehabilitation with our cat who suffered from nerve damage due to a bad batch of flea drops at horse strength rather than cat strength (the company later issued a recall). :( We built a similar contraption ourselves, with no wheels, out of supplies from a hardware store and a piece of mesh fabric. Then we had a long piece of butcher paper that we pulled underneath her like a conveyor belt to force her to try to walk. Best of luck to Buddy, and hugs to his family for not giving up on him!
